If you didn't know, now you do. I am a daddy's girl. I even look like my dad. We have similar middle names(George and Georgia), and most of all, we have LOVE.
I miss my daddy though. I have been in the United States since August of 2004 furthering my education. I am now obtaining my MBA (whoa). The worst part is being away from daddy. I've seen him twice since then and it stinks. I wish Jamaica was 2 hours away. I would even settle for 10 hours (driving, that is). I could and never will understand Americans when they don't appreciate their parents being in just driving distance, or even a button press away (cell phone).
I love my dad for all he has done. I know it had to be hard being alone. Now I can look back and thank him for his "tough love" cuz it has turned two girls into beautiful, inspiring and successful women.
Mi luv yuh daddy - u a di bes. Nuff rispek zeen.
